Their presence always creates a very special atmosphere as it is plain to see how much they enjoy meeting our visitors, and they have a genuine interest in our show and farming generally. Who would think that olive oil, hair straighteners and shampoo would be useful aides in getting ready for the show ring! Step into the food hall and you will be spoilt for choice with delicious goodies. Chutneys or cake? Speciality bread or beer? And this year sees the 10th anniversary of the popular Great Yorkshire cheese and dairy show. The county is famous for its wonderful cheeses, so do take a look at the magnificent displays.
