Where is the blushing mermaid in baldurs gate

Then it hit me. I went back outside, and sure enough it was two stories high. Not finding one, I went back inside and looked VERY carefully for stairs, which I didn't even notice till I hovered my cursor all around the room and it turned to an exit symbol.

Marek is there and all is ok. Sorry 'bout that. So this topic isn't a total waste of space I'll report two other bugs I've run into. I think his new form is called a Cornugon or some such, and you see 'em in Planescape but then, just as the teleporter opens he turns into an Ogre Mage and then disappears. So Basically, he was a kid at first asking for his dog Rufie, then upon returning he turns into a demon while thanking me, then, last, he turns into an Ogre Mage for a short period just as the teleporter opens to transport himself and Rufie away.

It's possible, once again, some of the other mods that were BG 2 specific might be causing this, or this might have been a one time glitch, as I only tested it once. I first found this out because I visited Scar first, bugged him enough that he wanted to wait for me outside. You haven't checked out the Seven Suns yet?? Well, meet me outside to discuss something else.

I then went out to complete other quests and events in the SW section. After clearing the Seven Suns of dopplegangers I returned to Scar but could find him neither standing outside or anywhere inside. It's possible he may re-show if I completed other quests, or he decided to wait somewhere else, but both my memory and the various walkthroughs claim he should either be standing outside or inside.

I've basically avoided this glitch by not pestering Scar so he stays inside, and not visiting Duke Eltan upstairs. I'll save visiting him until completing all of Scar's side quests, Seven Suns, creatures in the sewers etc. I'll probably be able to submit better bug reports with less questions with a cleaner install. When all is said and done, none of these bugs, except maybe the Scar bug, has threatened my ability to complete the game at this point. I thought I had run into one, being poisoned and not being able to find Marek, but, heh, we worked that out.

I have the problem with scar not showing up- except that I basically talked to scar, then straight to eltan so scar is now gone , then went off doing tons of sidequests in the city. It says "or can't be opened" which means that the door can't be opened. I known that the inns don't lock the doors. Why did the other guy tell me something else?

Join Date: September 16, Lothander is or was, now at the Blade and Stars. Marek is in the Blushing Mermaid. Jan, you have the right building, but you're trying to get in via the service entrance.

Go 1 map screen to the right and use THAT door. Yep I got in. I just didn't know that I had to "leave" the area. Nevermind Midget Gems.

I saw the minor mix up. Thread Tools. Maybe Alice? She promised me a The boss narrows his eyes at the kid, pours himself another whiskey and knocks back the whole thing in one swallow. The boy stares at the man in shock, and the boss spits his tobacco on the floor without losing eye contact. The boy scrambles up and nods "f The boss let's out a belly rumbled laugh.

Re: The Blushing Mermaid — A Noisy, Brawling Establishment Unread post by MopKnight » Fri Jul 31, pm The mopping woman from the Ilmateri temple, often seen flaunting her usual working class accent, is making a point of visiting the establishment on a Friday. Unlike her usual approach in the Docks - this only seems to be to drink and be merry - notably despite the fact she barely touches her booze. My internet connection is still a touch unstable at the moment. The bard that plays with soulful tone, is not unfamiliar to the crowd, yet It is of an invigorated tone Cause for lamenting, snares and cares Be theirs for night and day!

Leave the Singing Waters in the Deep's hold. And The Broken rotting by. May none of their kind survive, May the Fury injure them all, Each curse of the psalms in both books and voice Of curses upon them fall. For inside the tavern, his purpose is to find another—or others—that also remain unseen, though they may operate in plain sight.

His Elvin vision scans through the murky, smoke filled room, looking for a face, any face, bearing particular tattoos, then, with luck, dressed in robes of gray-green—the more ragged, the better.

With or without locating a being as described above, Smythe finds a rumor merchant, and shows him a palm full of diamonds.

Then, shuts his hand, just as quick. They will refuse you Let us discuss when the poison is the antidote I will return here in a days time.

At the hour of Six in the afternoon. Smythe then leaves the merchant, to be on his way Yeah, fairies wear boots and you gotta believe me…. Beady eyes glint at sight of the half-elf's exchange with the rumor merchant. Now wha'z this halfbreed up to? The haunched dwarf remains at table, face hidden behind large tankard clasped in both hands before him.

Out of earshot, his interest remains piqued. We'll be keeping a watchful eye on this one, aye. After a rounds of ale, the young man starts to brag about his recent "unfathomable" fortunes he has achieved clearing bandits from a cave and collecting broken bits of defeated undead. He speaks with a farmer's drawl and even the most green warrior can tell this farmhand is way over his head. His naivety eventually gets him into some trouble with the local color.

A rather rough crowd starts to size him up and a fight nearly begins. Eventually, humbled, Jimmy Farmer buys them all a round and gives them gifts of honeycake and cornbread.

The next day, Jimmy wakes up with a raging hangover, and the nagging question of who took his boots.
